Im supposed to write a paper on volunteering helped hurricane katrina, but i can’t find how many people volunteered. if you know the answer or about any website that cold help me then could you please tell me? and the percentages of who came from their safe, unaffected homes versus the percent that were victims themselves? please add scources, because i do not think that my LA teacher would accept yahoo answers as a scource cuz shes like that.

I’m running in an Extreme 5K with mud and obstacle courses! I can handle the running no problem, I run 12 miles at one time. And I can handle the courses but I would prefer to be READY. How to train for a 5K with climbing walls, monkey bars, fire pits, trenches with barbed wire, going up hill against a hurricane simulator, and sooo much more?

I’m downloading a game in Steam, and the max download speed is 180 KB/S, but I’m paying for 3 Mb/S. I’ve tried restarting the router & modem, setting the download location of steam closest to me (Detroit), and still no luck. I’m not sure what to do now.

Even though the series ended, it keeps getting rerun over, and over, and over…… for someone who hates the show and thinks it’s not funny (me) it’s not worth the pain in my wrist to change the channel every time I see it. Does anyone have any guesses to when this show will just go away forever?

I have tons of movies in .mp4 format.
But because they were for playback on my computer and it’s high definition screen, of course, I would download better quality ones consisting of a resolution higher then the Desire’s 480 x 800 playback resolution.
If I were to place a movie on this phone without converting to the lower resolution, would the video re-seize itself and play in a smaller resolution like most devices? Or just render itself useless on the phone?
And, what directory do the movies have to be placed in?

Hi, I’m 13 years old and I really want to model for WilHelmina. I have a couple questions before I send in my pictures. First off, since I’m a teen, do I have to do anything different in submitting my information than it says for adults? Secondly, I’m not skinny (my jeans are size 3 super skinny from Hollister) but I’m really tall for my age. My mom says that most models are very, very skinny, like size 0′s. Do you think that matters for teens because it’s not as serious as for adults? (I’m really scared that I’m not skinny enough !!) Third, how should I take the pictures? outside? Inside? Props? What should I wear? Should I put on makeup? How should I pose? Lastly, on the website for kids and teens, it says:
“The talent division rocks the house with impressive talent bookings in feature films, TV Series, Broadway shows and hundreds of commercials.” But I don’t want to do like talent and all that stuff because I’m not a singer…and I can’t act. Is that a totally different “division” from just modeling?
